SUBLIME MERGE CMD LINE CODE
Since editing source code and prose requires different tools and workflows than managing a Git repository, we opted to integrate the most appropriate Git functionality into Sublime Text, but leave more advanced features in Sublime Merge.
The same commands (except the ones defined in Custom Comparisons) appears in Command Palette and Context Menus.With the introduction of GitHub's Squash and Merge feature, this has become less prevelant, however it's still useful in scenarios where GitHub's interface is unavailable. I'm quite sure that sometimes, I'll have a Sublime Merge window working, everything is fine, and I'll do some operation from the command line (a rebase, say), and then that SM window will peg the CPU meter at 100 and be in the kind of locked state I described.
